The Israel Fund helps Jewish professionals make a smooth transition after making Aliyah (immigration to Israel). We offer $5,000 grants to support their initial living expenses while working on projects that help Israeli businesses and organizations in need.
We are now launching a series of industry-focused funds and seeking underwriters to sponsor these life-changing opportunities.
How It Works.
Each grant program is funded with a minimum of $60,000 — $50,000 to award ten $5,000 grants to eligible recipients, and an additional $10,000 for marketing and program administration. But the more you invest, the greater the impact. Additional funding from underwriters will allow us to sponsor even more talented professionals seeking to integrate into Israel's thriving workforce.
Empowering Olim Through Immediate Immersion
Grant recipients are selected through a competitive application process. A review committee evaluates applicants based on their industry experience, professional skills, financial need (with total assets/savings under $30,000), and commitment to building a successful future in Israel. Once approved, recipients are enrolled in a customized incubator program designed for their grant cohort. During the 40-60 hour program, grantees are assigned a project to help olim entrepreneurs or local businesses and organizations in need of their skills. This hands-on experience, mentorship, and portfolio-building opportunity prepares grantees to launch their careers in Israel.
